As an undergraduate, Brett studied Philosophy, Politics, and Law at SUNY Binghamton. After earning his B.A. in 2012, Brett applied himself at New York Law School, and eventually received his J.D. in 2015. His primary motivation for a law degree was a class during his freshman year as an undergraduate titled "Law and Morality". The class attracted his interest by providing a fresh perspective on difficult questions everyone addresses at one point or another.
Brett is an avid concert-goer. His top five favorite groups are Phish, Grateful Dead, The Beatles, New Mastersounds, and Tribe Called Quest. He also enjoys traveling when he has time, and escapes by supporting the Giants, Yankees, and Knicks.
Brett is currently an Associate at Friedberg Pinkas PLLC, and in addition to his legal work, works part-time as a party decorator.
